armed with all the necessary supplies, and my blue and white sailor stripe bikini, i am ready to roast.

the storm today was absolutely incredible. i have never seen rain like that, and the thunder was so loud and constant and beautiful. i wish my camera could have done it justice.

this is the piece of sandstone we found on the side of the house while digging up the old sidewalk. it looks like we have our own mini moat.

i made this yesterday.

and i have enough fabric left over to make some sort of summery dress. i wish it was warm outside...
