just some things.

i love you spring! you sunburned my left arm, but that is ok. you also gave me a weird tan line on my back, but i can overlook that. i am just happy that the sun is back out and school is almost over!

i get to go to the zoo tomorrow, i will be sure to take a million photos. as usual.

ronnie is so adorable. i want to squeeze her all the time. i don't know how normal it is to be completely obsessed with your cat, and to always be telling your boyfriend to come look at the cute way she is resting on the bed, but i don't care. i love her.











i started harry potter arm. it is beautiful. jake miller at 11th street is doing it. jake fucking ROX. he is in my blog list so go look at his stuff. it is awesome. i will post one picture of it because i feel weird showing it. it is strange having people ask me if they can see my arm and asking why i got a harry potter tattoo and asking what a time turner is. read the books. duh. i cannot wait to add more to it! i love it oh so much.



and if you live in salt lake, and are in town on may 2, then you better be coming to the salty streets flea market at kilby court, or i will be way ticked off. i am going to be selling kick ass cat shirts and shorts and undies. and there are going to be a million other things to look at and snacks to eat and bands to listen to. look at the poster:

BEWARE! this post is real long and stuff.

trevor has been after me to update the blog. i have been super lazy lately, i blame the heat. anyway, here is what has been happening over the few weeks.

on the fourth of july, megan, jade, spencer, trevor and i went up to our friend ernestos house behind the capitol building to watch the fireworks. we could kind of see the bees stadium fireworks through the trees, but not really. the highlight of this part of the night was watching hiram creep out on meggy.







trevor and i went to dinner before the house party. he had never been to shanghai, and it was pretty much the only thing open that day. i got this great fortune after. i have been wasting my time printing apparently.





on july 15 harry potter and the half blood prince came out. everyone who knows me knows i LOVE harry potter, sometimes more than life itself. i always get so hyped up to see the movies and i am always so incredibly disappointed with them. i have a hard time separating myself from the books, and remembering that it is impossible to include everything from the books in a two hour movie. but still, all that being said, i went into this one with no expectations. i tried to just watch the movie and forget about the book. but it was still so shitty! so so so so so shitty. it was honestly one of the most boring movies i have ever seen. the previews tricked me. bah. anyway i don't want to talk about it anymore because everyone close to me is sick of hearing about it i am sure.
alex, sable, trevor and i made t shirts for the premier. i hated mine, it wasn't how i imagined it, but whatever. i made sables shirt, i don't have a picture of it, but it had slytherins locket on it. it was a real thing of beauty. alex made a snake nailed to a door, and trevor, oh man his kicked so much ass.





also i made brooms for everyone who rode bikes down to the movie.



i found my long lost twin sister at the black keys show at gallivan.
ps i am never going to another show there. it is completely miserable.



then trevor had his art show the next night, and me being a stupid girlfriend, i didn't take any pictures. i am a bad girlfriend. birthquake played behind model citizen and it was a real hot and fun time.
then saturday night there was a benefit show at urban lounge for the salt lake city film festival, and brice played in his other band, mammoth. i was mesmerized by the lights, and also by shanes drumming. also brice had a robot singing voice.

so one day when i decide to pop out some babies, one is definitely going to be named harry. and of course it is after harry potter. duh.
but for now i only love one harry. the hp. tickets were purchased today, i cannot wait.



only a few things in life really get me excited, and harry potter is one of them. i cannot fucking wait to see this movie, the previews look pretty sweet. if this one sucks, i am going to be so disappointed. at least until the next two come out. i always get really excited when i see the previews, then the movie ends up blowing big time and i just talk shit about it forever, then re read the books and think they should have a potter nerd directing these things. then the new previews come along and i get excited all over again. ha ha i have nothing to look forward to now that the books are done. this sounds sad, but it is true. very true.

donut induced dreams

i ate a donut this morning because my blood sugar was a bit low, then i decided to go back to sleep for a bit. while i was napping i had the craziest dream about mexico, ghosts, jesus, magic, and of course, harry potter.
i was in mexico with my sister and her friend jackie, and we were going to meet trevor and brice and some guy i have never seen. we stopped into this weird tattoo shop slash restaurant because it was raining really hard and it was really cold. the people inside seemed to think we were ghost catchers, so they started to tell us about this mean ghost that lived there that liked to dress up as jesus. so we went into the haunted room and there he was, pretend ghost jesus. so he starts throwing all these crazy spells at us, and me being the huge potter nerd that i am start throwing them back. then he conjured up a marilyn monroe ghost, not sure why, but anyway i totally expelliarmused pretend jesus ghosts wand because i know way more spells than he does.

so i had seen these professor brothers cartoons before, and i thoroughly enjoyed them.

then this week trevor and i were hulu-ing and watched a movie called we are wizards. of course i had to see it, because it was about harry potter and wizard rock. it featured harry and the potters, some geeks who started fan sites that would talk about the books, some other bands that started because of harry and the potters...it was awesome.
THEN
brad neelys part comes on, and turns out he was real into the potter movies. so what he did was watch them on mute and record his own version of the story. you can watch some clips of it on youtube, and there is a site you can download the entire recording and sync it with the movie. it is awesome. so awesome.
